8/5 Day Thirty-Five Of Game Project 2

Today we were all working as a full unit once again and got a ton of work done! So much so that our lead programmer is starting to ask for what's needed rather than take whatever is available from the asset breakdown. This is indeed very good, and we are considering using this time for implementing wishlist material, mostly on request from the art department.

The artists seem to have it all under control and continue to deliver high-quality models and animations for the programmers to implement. They also have a plan of having all of the rooms populated on Friday and will also start working with the light on before noon on that same day.

The programmers are now a full team once again and delivers on all of their respective fields. We have changed our plan regarding the AI and will only focus on getting a decent enough presentation by Friday next week, as we still think that we might not be able to have time to implement collision for the enemies. However, considering the programmers are getting less work by the day, this might turn out to be as impossible as we thought at first.

I worked with doing some menu placeholders for the options menu and the credits slide, which will get implemented on by the Artists to make it more presentable. I also wrote some specifics about how the ending and start of the game will work in the GDD and some general updating of some chapters.

My co-designer continued to work on the last puzzle, and since she will be gone tomorrow, she has made sure that we will be able to continue working on what she started by making all of her working files available to us.

At the moment, we all feel great and much less stressed compared to yesterday. Today we had a really productive day, hopefully, tomorrow we will be able to maintain the same level of productivity.
