15/5 Day Forty Of Game Project 2
Since I got a headache today, I will keep this entry very brief.
At the end of the day we finally got the final level into the game, but since there are many things that defer from the older level, it will need some polishing before it will be finished. It took way more time than we first thought, but now that it is finally done, we hope we have enough time for polishing and finalizing everything before we present it on Friday. It also came with a few bugs, which our programmers needs to take care of tomorrow.
The problem with the servers we had yesterday was fixed, but returned soon after. Our teachers tells us that there was nothing they could do at the present time and that we simply just have to deal. This meant of course that we had to transfer our games onto a USB in order to test the newest version of the game out. This put back our plans a fair bit.
The AI is now in a presentable state, and although it still has an apparent bug which causes it to zig-zag at times, it will not be a disaster if we do not manage to solve it in time for the presentation, as the game will function equally as well without it. This is indeed a great relief.
Tomorrow is our final day to work on the game before the presentation, which means we have to give it our all to make sure that everything is implemented and works correctly. It will surely be a but hectic, but we should be able to manage it just fine on the time we got left.
