21/3 Day Four Of Game Project 2
We started the day by having a stand-up meeting per usual. Everybody seemed to know what they were going to do next and it was not much more that needed to be said.
The programmers continued working on wall collision, specular shader and also started with the implementation of the core mechanic.
The artists continued working with their concept and also had a meeting regarding what they had decided.
I worked on the GDD until lunch time and then started concepting on puzzles we could use in the game with the mechanics we had defined in the document. I started with using Photoshop, but soon realised that it was a lot simpler to just use a notebook. A few of the concepts I came up with today may very well end up in the final game, or at least parts from it.
In the meanwhile, my co-designer worked on the mockup level in Unity and Maya, while also making some changes and giving feedback in the GDD.
All in all, the day went by fairly fast and I think we are realizing huge progress. Tomorrow we will all discuss how far we've gotten and decide on what we are going to show the teachers on Monday morning regarding our progress and our future plan.
